Taranis Web Application

New dashboard improvements

The new dashboard is now available in all supported languages (Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, German)

Weeds Pressure Insight by Coverage For Sugarcane

With the new weeds pressure by coverage presentation, users can easily understand the severity of the weeds pressure in the field, on average, and the distribution of the acres - i.e. where the most pressured acres are.

For sugarcane only at this stage, the weeds Pressure insight quantifies the area identified with weeds pressure (for the image), and grades it on a scale from 0 to 100%:  0 means there's no weeds pressure, whereas 100% means the entire area is infested with weeds. Anything above 15%, will be considered “Red”, meaning, under severe pressure.

The weeds pressure measurement is presented consistently throughout the web application in the insights page, PDF report, dashboard and zones.

Insights Processing

New Quality Assurance Tool

Our goal continues to be producing the highest quality and most accurate insights to help make decisions throughout the season. In order to enable this, we have developed a new quality assurance tool that will help our teams validate the insights and make sure they meet agronomical expectations.

The tool will allow the team to make quick decisions and smart actions on the spot, while monitoring their actions for future improvements. These actions include altering tags on images and running a different model in case crop field limitations require (e.g. hoop count vs. row count at emergence stage)
