A new option in the cycle filter selection - “All missions” - enables the user to get the collection of missions of the growing cycle, for each of the growers/fields.
Once this option is selected, the data of all former missions within the growing cycle is added to the growers/fields table. At the far right of the row, an arrow appears, click it to expand the row and see the full history of the cycle. Click again to fold.
Growers table
Fields table
Filtered data context - Above the growers/fields table, we’ve added ‘Chips’, making it easy to understand the data in filtering mode. In the example below, the user filtered data only for the 4th mission (late season flight), looking for fields with a high pressure of weeds, combined with no disease identified, for planning the next season inputs purchase.
Upcoming missions will start capturing wide-angle images in addition to the leaf-level images, which will continue to be captured as before. The wide-angle images provide a greater view of the field and allow the user to contextualize the zoom, leaf-level image, and its position in the field.
Access to the wide-angle images is done using the web application. When selecting an insight and an image in the field, when available, a wide-angle image thumbnail will appear on the left-side pane, as shown in the screenshot below:
Clicking on the “wide image” will change the main image to the wide-angle image and show the “zoom image” in the left pane:
The image, similar to the zoom image, allows zooming in and out, and the location of the matching “zoom image” is marked in a green shape on the wide image to further contextualize the zoom image:
Clicking on the “Zoom image” on the left pane will toggle the images to display the zoom image in the main display.
We have improved our new user onboarding flow: Taranis email invitation and login process are now based on the language set on the user profile page.
An invitation email and a login page in Portuguese can be found in the screenshot below:
We are changing our notifications to enhance our customer engagement by optimizing the amount of emails sent. Additionally, contextualize and deliver relevant and meaningful information at the right time to the right people.
The “Latest Confirmed Missions” Email will be sent to organization admins and will reflect the most updated state of assigned fields to missions.
The new Taranis app for drone pilots is leveraging the DJI SDK, and provides an enhanced pilot experience, including automated flight plans, optimized image distribution layout and more.
The app will be used in the upcoming season to capture an increased numbers of images per acre, while maintaining operational efficiency such as time flight and time on the field, to minimize time spent on the field.
As we’re approaching the season in International acres, we have updated the Android and iOS versions of our ScoutApp mobile applications, to support the usage of the app scouting and reporting functionalities. Issues with uploading fields and map availability in offline mode were fixed.
