The Grower Weekly Summary Email from Taranis offers a concise snapshot of recent field activity and crop health, along with a preview of upcoming flights. Delivered in a clean, easy-to-read format, the email highlights key insights from the past week - plus a look at which fields are scheduled to fly in the upcoming week - to keep growers informed, aligned, and ready to take action.
Delivery: The email is sent every Monday at 6:00 AM CST/ 7:00 AM EST and summarizes missions flown from the previous Sunday through Saturday and includes a preview of fields scheduled to fly in the coming week. These summaries are automatically sent to growers ensuring alignment across the team and supporting timely decision making. Advisors do not receive this communication by default but can opt in by contacting Customer Success.
What's Included: Each Grower Weekly Summary email includes a high-level snapshot of recent mission activity, field-level insights, detected threats, and a preview of upcoming flights—prioritized to highlight the most important findings and help growers plan for the week ahead.
Scheduled Missions for the Coming Week: At the top of the Grower Weekly Summary Email, growers see a list of fields scheduled to fly in the upcoming week. This section includes:
- Field name
- Mission number
- Planned flight date
| Note: Flight schedules are subject to change based on conditions and logistics.
Weekly Totals
- Total Number of Missions Flown.
- Total Acres Covered.
Field Level Data for up to 5 Fields
- Field name, crop type, mission, number, and date of flight.
- Displayed threats depend on mission timing:
- Missions 1 and 2 show Weeds and Stand Count.
- Missions 4 through 6 show Weeds, Disease, Nutrients, and Insects.
- For each threat type displayed, a thumbnail heatmap highlights the affected areas based on severity.
- Top 3 species identified in the field are listed under the thumbnail.
Display Prioritization
- Missions with advisor-created recommendations are shown first.
- Remaining missions are sorted by severity of threats detected.
Detailed Insight Information
- When viewing the email on a web browser, selecting any field insight from the thumbnail view opens the Map View in the Taranis Web App, centered on the threat location.
- When viewing the email on a mobile device, the same action opens the Taranis Mobile App to the relevant Map View.
