Step-by-Step Guide to Grower Season Recommendations

Step-by-Step Guide to Grower Season Recommendations

Overview
Grower Season Recommendations compile everything observed during the year into a clear, crop-by-crop set of recommendations. Instead of reviewing raw insights, you receive curated, advisor-ready guidance on the most impactful threats, trends, and opportunities for corn and soybeans.

By consolidating this information, Grower Season Recommendations make it simple to compare performance across all fields of a given crop, spot recurring issues, and identify areas for improvement. Recommendations are designed to support clear end-of-season conversations, helping advisors review the year’s performance, capture key learnings, and plan targeted recommendations for the season ahead.

Step 1: Access Recommendations
  1. Log in to the Taranis Web App.
  2. Click the Growers tab at the top of the screen.
  3. Select the Grower Profile Card for the grower you want to review.

  1. Inside the Grower Profile, open the Recommendations tab and select Season Recommendation

Step 2: Review and Edit Recommendations
  1. Review the recommendations for corn and soybeans on the same page.
  2. Check the five key categories: Emergence, Weeds, Diseases, Insects, and Nutrients
  3. Scroll through each summary to view the full recommendations.
  4. To make changes, click Edit in the top right corner.
  5. Customize the text and add your own notes where needed.
  6. Check the performance indicators (green, yellow, red) for each threat type and adjust if necessary.
  7. When finished, click Save in the top right corner.

Step 3: Share Recommendations with the Grower
  1. After reviewing and editing, click Share in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Add one or more recipients to deliver the recommendation by text message or email
  3. Optionally, include a custom message to provide context or highlight key points.
  4. You can also download as a PDF to save or share outside the platform.

  1. A confirmation message appears once the recommendation has been successfully sent.
  2. Once shared, the grower will be able to view the recommendation directly.
  3. Use the shared recommendations to guide your end-of-season conversation, focusing on successes, areas to improve, and steps for the upcoming season.
