Agronomists, advisors and growers can now leverage a complete field timeline of all the insights and planned missions in one place, track progress and plan for better farm decision-making and season planning.
The newly released Field Timeline functionality provides advisors will be able to increase communication and engagement with growers by showcasing what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and when things occurred. The functionality is highly useful during the season, when making in-field adjustments, as well as post-season in preparation for the next one.
The user can navigate through the Field Timeline using several different view options (day-by-day, full season), filter insights to their specific needs, and review insights alongside weather, NDVI and Field Health Index measurements. Users can view insights details from within the Field Timeline, providing them with further context and information to make more informed decisions.
The Field Timeline is accessible directly from the Dashboard by clicking on “Field Name” in each row as well as from the insights multi-view. Users can also toggle between the timeline and map views for easier navigation of the field.

Additional Enhancements
Map Atlas (Mission Scheduling and Monitoring) Enhancements
Increasing operational efficiency and ensuring on-time mission execution, the newly developed Area of Operation (AOO) functionality has been enhanced to allow marking Area of Operation in different colors, better identifying individual Area of Operation for review and assignment.
Additionally, radius measurements are now presented in miles when creating and editing an Area of Operation.
User Experience Enhancements
During the month of November, several enhancements and changes have been completed, to allow better utilization of the Taranis web and mobile applications, including the following:
- Farm Name in PDF Export: when using the Map Layers export option, the farm name is now displayed
- Search Enhancement: when clicking on the search option, the search field is opened and the user can start typing their desired search term, reducing the number of clicks to get the matching results:
- Dashboard Threats Filter: the threat filter in the dashboard now uses an “AND” setting, allowing users to further navigate and filter to only field that have multiple threats as selected
Enhancements and Bug Fixes
- Sentinel NVDI Enhancement: NVDI layers from Sentinel are now enhanced with more distinct visual coloring to allow better use in the system.
- Performance Enhancements: the web application infrastructure has been upgraded to allow for even faster and smoother navigation and access to fields, insights and all other available functionality. The enhancements can be specifically noticeable in the dashboard and multi-insight pages.
- No Image in Remote Scout: resolved the scenario when clicking on the surface with no image resulted in the Remote Scout interface to freeze
- Image Positioning: the selected Image positioning in the web application is now better aligned for display
- Weeds Data Display: weeds data is now displayed in the map based on the user measurement configuration (imperial, metric)
