Nutrient Deficiencies Insight

Taranis SmartScout™ insights can help you detect nutrient deficiency symptoms and overall crop health risk to drive in-season and long term fertility plans. Learn how: 

From the insights multiview tab, you can have full farm view of your insights to prioritize which fields need to be scouted first. 

1. In your organization, before you select a specific field, you will be able to see all your farms on the right and the available insights on the left.
2. On the left, select nutrient deficiencies and that will highlight the fields on the right with those insights and will also color code the map according to threshold 

From here, you can edit thresholds that better fit your criteria, zoom in, and do a deeper dive into fields that you have prioritized for management  

HOW TO INTERPRET NUTRIENT DEFICIENCIES

1. Total images with nutrient deficiencies found [machine calculated] through AI Tagging 
   
2. Pie chart of nutrient deficiency distribution relative to acre
   
3. Select a bubble to begin in depth nutrient analysis and decision making 
4. View all deficiency locations or turn on view of specific deficiency analysis (select the green eye) eye by all species locations to turn all off and select specific eye for specific nutrient deficiency location)
   

PRO TIP - place a higher priority on fields with a higher percentage of nutrient deficiency to quickly isolate correctable problems in a timely manner.
