Premium Satellite (Planet) Subscription Types

Introduction

Taranis provides a Field Health Index analysis model that monitors your field health throughout the season with PlanetLabs NDVI layers, and helps you detect anomalies within the field.  Taranis offers two types of premium satellite subscriptions, with the difference being the PlanetLabs imagery time window (start and end date).


Subscription Plan Types

The subscription provides premium satellite imagery for a timeframe of two years (24 months). The imagery availability is set to best meet the needs of the different regions, and can start from one of the following:

  • January: available in the USA, Brazil and international markets

  • September: available only in Brazil and international markets

The subscription type (January or September) and the selected subscription year will be used as follows:

  • January: the subscription to imagery should start from the one-before-previous January and run till the end of the selected year

  • September: the subscription to imagery should start from the one-before-previous September and run till the end of August of the selected year
