Invite a Grower to Connect in MyJohnDeere

Before connecting growers, check existing access! 

If your growers are already linked to your retail location, just confirm their permission settings are correct. This ensures that their planting data will flow seamlessly into Taranis for timely insights and recommendations.

  1. Log in to MyJohnDeere Operations Center. 

  1. Sign in using your retail account credentials.

  1. Click the Setup tab from the main menu.

  1. Scroll down and select Team.

  1. To invite a grower, within the Team tab, click Partners.
  2. To add a connection, click the +Add button and select Partner Organization. 

  1. Select Receive Access.
  2. Enter the Grower’s email address linked to their MyJohnDeere account.

  1. Required Access Levels
    1. Equipment - Level 2
    2. Organization - Level 2
      1. Grant Additional Permissions: Share Organizations Data with Connected Software Companies.
    3. Locations - Level 3
    4. Work and Financials - Level 0


  1. Send the invitation with an optional personalized message. 
  2. Click Send Request.

  1. The grower will receive an email or in-app notification about the connection request. 


  1. To accept the invitation, Grower logs in to their MyJohnDeere account.

  1. Click the Setup tab from the main menu
  2. Select Connections to view pending invitations.

  1. When Grower accepts the connection and confirms permissions, their MyJohnDeere account is connected and the data flow is enabled.
  2. The retailer can now access the grower’s data based on the permissions granted during the setup.
  3. The retailer can view this data in the Operations Center under shared connections.
