Weed Detection (by species)
Taranis SmartScout™ insights can help you detect weeds (by species) and overall threshold to drive herbicide decisions and long term plans. Learn how:
From the insights multiview tab, you can have full farm view of your weeds insights to prioritize which fields need to be scouted first.
- In your organization, before you select a specific field, you will be able to see all your farms on the right and the available insights on the left.
- On the left, select weeds and that will highlight the fields on the right with weeds insights and will also color code the map according to the threshold
- From here, you can use the edit tool to toggle the threshold to the desired target amount or search by species
From here, you can edit thresholds that better fit your criteria, zoom in, and do a deeper dive into fields that you have prioritized for herbicide application.

Select a bubble to begin in depth weed analysis and herbicide decision making
View all species locations or turn on view of specific weed analysis (select the green eye by all species locations to turn all off and select specific eye for specific weed location)
