Zone Creation on the Taranis Web App

Taranis Zones tab is where you can go to create management zones and prescriptions based off of the information gathered from specific insights.

There are two ways to navigate zone creation:

First, through the specific insight on a field.

1. Select either emergence or weed insights from the insights tab
2. Click the zone map icon on the top right of the insight
3. This map is created using the insight information only. You can edit number of zones and area only

Second way is through the zones tab on the right hand side: 

1. Select the Zones tab
   
2. Click the Create New Zone button
   
3. This map is created using the insight information, but gives you the opportunity to add satellite or other insight layers

Third is through the map layers tab. 

1. Select either an emergence or weed insight from the map layers tab
   
2. Click select layer, insight, then click the insight layer desired
   
3. In the bottom right corner click on the legend and the pencil
   
4. Here there is the ability to toggle the number threshold of each zone, etc.
   
5. When ready, click the zone map icon on the top right of the insight in map layers

Complete all of the fields and select which insight or satellite layers (parameters) you would like included

Click the Create Zones button once all the fields have been completed **Note: the button will not be clickable until all fields are selected.**

Zone will process and become available

You have the option from here to edit the zones you created, or create a downloadable, exportable prescription.
