Tracking advisor engagement is key to driving value from the Taranis platform. The Advisor Engagement Widget is available on the Home tab in the Taranis Web App for users with the Manager role. The tool provides a clear view of how the agronomy team is using the platform. It supports adoption, identifies training needs, and recognizes strong performers.
What Is the Advisor Engagement Widget
The Advisor Engagement Widget summarizes advisor activity across login frequency, insight views, and mission recommendations all in one place. Designed for Manager-level users, it's updated daily and helps surface patterns in platform engagement and enables timely follow-up during the season.
Who Appears in the Widget
To ensure the Advisor Engagement Widget reflects meaningful activity from the customer-facing team, the widget only includes users within an organization who meet the following criteria:
- Have the title of “Agronomist”; and
- Have access to at least one field in the current org branch and season
What You See
Advisors are automatically sorted by engagement with the most active users appearing first. For each advisor, the widget displays:
- Last Login Date – Captures the most recent login via web or mobile.
- Insight Views - Counts each time an advisor opens a full Insight Detail View on web or mobile. Scrolling past insights or viewing summaries is not reflected.
- Mission Recommendations - Reflects saved recommendations within the current season. Drafts that haven’t been saved are excluded. Recommendations do not need to be sent to the customer to be counted.
Why It Matters
During the busiest parts of the season, it can be challenging for managers to track advisor engagement. The Advisor Engagement Widget fills that gap by surfacing coaching opportunities, highlighting top-performing advisors, and encouraging consistent platform use ultimately helping connect advisor activity to grower outcomes and supporting retention.
Final Note
The Advisor Engagement Widget is designed to make advisor activity visible and actionable, supporting stronger team performance and better outcomes across the season. Log in to the Taranis Web App, head to the Home tab, and see how your team is engaging with the platform today!
