Taranis gives users the ability to document field-level insights, observations, and agronomic decisions throughout the season using two types of notes. These tools support internal collaboration, improve follow-through on recommendations, and help maintain a clear record of what’s happening in the field. Once a note is saved, it becomes visible to any user with access to the account—notes are not private to the creator. However, no notifications are sent to other users when a new note is created, so regular review of field activity is recommended to stay informed.
General Field Notes
Standalone notes that apply to the field as a whole. These can be used to capture broader observations, grower preferences, or general agronomic considerations not tied to a particular insight or mission.
Insight-Specific Notes
These notes are linked directly to a specific threat—such as weed pressure, stand count, disease, or nutrient deficiency—within a mission. These notes allow users to record context, observations, or recommended actions tied to that specific event and date.
